Testing laboratory for NBC protective material, as well as equipment and installations for use in protective structures STS 055

It is of utmost importance that equipment and installations for use in protective structures comply with federal statements of requirements and satisfy the relevant norms. For this reason, such equipment and installations are tested in the accredited testing laboratory STS 055. Periodically, such components must undergo comprehensive approval tests and product audits.

The testing laboratory STS 055 has ISO 17025 accreditation and is run by the Mechanical Effects Group..

We perform the following tests:

Testing laboratory STS 055Shock safety tests on mounting parts for use in protective structures, and concrete anchor systems using vertical and horizontal shock test machines. Measurement of the test bank stimulation and test item response by means of piezoelectric acceleration transducers.
Testing laboratory STS 055Shock pressure loading of protective shelter components and explosion vents using simulators (shock tubes) and conventional explosives. Measurement of the pressure-time responses using piezoelectrical pressure transducers.
Testing laboratory STS 055

Measurement of the flow resistance of air conduction components using ventilators, flowmeters and precision differential pressure gauges.

Determining the flow rate and power consumption of ventilators, as well as ventilation and after-treatment apparatus using flowmeters and precision differential pressure gauges. Measurement of acoustic emissions. Testing the functioning and mechanical loading tolerance of such equipment.

Testing laboratory STS 055

Testing of filters for use in protective structures. Measurement of aerosol permeability using a laser particle counter, and sorption performance by means of gas concentration meters.
