Logistics and Quality Management
The NBC Centre Spiez and the SPIEZ LABORATORY are home to the Centre of Expertise of the Swiss army, seminar rooms, laboratories, a large general purpose room, as well as outdoor sports facilities. The Logistics and Quality Management department of the SPIEZ LABORATORY is responsible for the management of the NBC centre’s infrastructure and for ensuring that it is ready for use at any time.
Main tasks
- Guaranteeing and maintaining the power and water supplies, as well as the telephone and alarm systems.
- Maintaining and cleaning both indoor and outdoor facilities. General housekeeping duties, including accommodation and seminar rooms.
- Porter, security and lock-and-key services.
- Tenders and orders, auditing, credit management, materials’ and inventory management, stock control, liquidation and waste disposal management.
- Evaluating, installing, commissioning and providing support of laboratory IT hardware and software, measurement and interface technology, as well as electronic equipment.
- Operating, maintaining and upgrading the SPIEZ LABORATORY quality management system.
- Implementation of safety/security and environmental management directives.
