Integral testing of chemical protection clothing
The Individual Protection Working Group conducts experiments to determine the protective factor of individual protection equipment against gases on the entire system. Tests are carried out in a specially designed chamber according to predetermined test concentrations and wind flows. During the entire procedure, the test object (either a robot or a human subject in a full-body chemical protection suit) perform predefined movements (e.g. running/rest periods). Throughout the test, measurements are taken on the penetration of the test substance - methyl salicylate - through the suit to various parts of the body.
