Legal foundations

The Federal Act on the Control of Dual-Use Goods and of Specific Military Goods of 13thDecember 1996 (SR 946.202 ) is the legal foundation for the implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) in Switzerland. The corresponding regulations for its implementation are stipulated in the Ordinance on the Control of Chemicals for Civilian and Military Applications, dated 17th October 2007 (SR 946.202.21). CWC relevant chemicals are listed in the annex of this ordinance.
