Visit to BSL4 laboratory in Canada

Site chosen by the national defence directorate. Following an in-depth and thorough appraisal procedure, Spiez is selected as the site for the new SiLab
2002
Feasibility study on the planned Spiez site
2003
Political backing from the DDPS directorate. In view of departmental restructuring and the additional demands which the building of the SiLab would generate, the construction plans were presented to the directorate. It agreed that the project should continue as planned.
